Michael MacCourt

Michael MacCourt is an emerging Birmingham-based drummer. Having held the drum chair with the award-winning Midlands Youth Jazz Orchestra for over four years, he has performed and recorded with a range of artists all across Europe. This includes Percy Pursglove of the NDR, Alan Barnes and the Tom Ward Septet alongside a variety of his own projects. As well as working in the jazz idiom, he is a member of the psychedelic rock outfit The Magic Poptarts, and has recorded music for ABC with Conan O’Brien.His new project DUALITY is coming soon!
